SEO and Google Ads for Texas service businesses

Last updated

VentCube helps Texas service businesses get more calls from Google with local SEO, Google Ads and websites built to convert. We work remotely from Khulna, Bangladesh. We do not have an office in Texas.

What do we do for Texas service businesses?

We help contractors, home service companies and professional practices in Texas turn searches into calls and booked jobs. Most clients use two or all three of these.

  • Local SEO.

Google Business Profile work, service pages that match what people search, consistent listings and a plan for reviews. See local SEO for service businesses.

  • Google Ads.

Search and Local Services Ads built around your best jobs and the areas you cover. We cut wasted spend each week and track calls and forms back to the keyword that drove them. See Google Ads management.

  • Websites.

Fast mobile pages with your number at the top, one page per service and a clear list of where you work. See web design for service businesses.

More booked jobs. Not just more clicks.

Why does Texas need a metro by metro plan?

Because Google Maps is local and Texas is not. Google ranks local results on relevance, distance and prominence. Distance means a company based in Houston will rarely show in the Dallas map results, however good its profile is. So we plan each market on its own: the metro you are based in first, then the areas around it you can really serve.

Your home metro

Most of your map calls will come from near your base. That is where we focus Business Profile work, reviews and service pages first. In a large metro the competition is often heavy, so we pick the services and suburbs where you can win, not the broadest search terms.

Suburbs and nearby towns

Searches in places like Sugar Land, Plano, Frisco, Round Rock or Cedar Park often show local businesses close to that suburb. If you serve them, we cover them with service area settings, pages where you have real work to show, and ad targeting set by zip code or radius.

More than one location

If you have staffed locations in more than one city, each one can have its own Google Business Profile. Google does not allow a profile at a virtual office or a mailbox. We will not set one up, because profiles like that get suspended and they mislead customers.

Service area limits

If you go to your customers, Google lets you hide your address and list your service areas. Google’s guidelines say a service area should stay within about 2 hours of driving from your base. In Texas that rules out covering the whole state from one profile, so we do not pretend it can.

Which parts of Texas do we cover?

We work with businesses anywhere in Texas. The markets we are asked about most are below.

Metro Examples of nearby areas
Houston Sugar Land, The Heights, Montrose
Dallas Plano, Frisco, Uptown
Austin Round Rock, Cedar Park

If your business is in another part of the state, the same approach applies. Contact us and we will look at your market.

How does remote work run?

Our team does the work and talks to you directly. Updates come through Slack, email and short Loom videos. Calls happen during US mornings, Eastern time, and we confirm every call in your own time zone. You get plain English reports on calls, forms, cost per lead and next steps.

We do not visit job sites. You send photos of your crews and your work, and we use them on your profile and pages.

How is VentCube priced?

It depends on how much work your business and your market need. After a free audit, we recommend a monthly plan and tell you the price before you commit. Ad spend is separate and paid to Google by you. Month to month, 30 day notice. We recommend 3 months for SEO, but you can leave any month.

Texas FAQ

Common questions

Do you have an office in Texas?

No. Our only office is in Khulna, Bangladesh, and we work with Texas businesses remotely. Our hours overlap US mornings, Eastern time, which is early to mid morning in Central time.

Can one business rank across Houston, Dallas and Austin?

Not from one Google Business Profile. Map results lean on distance, so you show near where you are based. If you have staffed locations in more than one metro, each gets its own profile. Google Ads can reach further than your map listing.

How long does SEO take in a big Texas market?

SEO usually takes months, not weeks, to show in Google Maps and rankings. Busy metros with many competitors can take longer for the hardest searches. Google Ads can bring calls much sooner while SEO builds.
