SEO and Google Ads for North Carolina service businesses

Last updated

VentCube helps North Carolina service businesses get more calls from Google with local SEO, Google Ads and websites built to convert. We work remotely from Khulna, Bangladesh. We do not have an office in North Carolina.

What do we do for North Carolina service businesses?

We help contractors, home service companies and professional practices in North Carolina turn Google searches into calls and booked jobs.

  • Local SEO.

Google Business Profile work, service pages built around real searches, consistent listings and a plan for reviews. See local SEO for service businesses.

  • Google Ads.

Search and Local Services Ads campaigns split by service and area. We cut wasted spend every week and track calls and forms back to the keyword that drove them. See Google Ads management.

  • Websites.

Fast mobile pages with your number at the top, one page per service and a clear list of where you work. See web design for service businesses.

More booked jobs. Not just more clicks.

How does local search work across North Carolina?

North Carolina has several separate metro markets, and Google treats them that way. Google ranks local results on relevance, distance and prominence. Because distance counts, a business based in Charlotte will rarely show in the Raleigh map results, and the reverse is true too.

So we plan by market. We start with the area around your base, then add nearby areas you can really serve.

Charlotte

In a busy metro the map results for common services are crowded. Searches in Uptown, South End or Ballantyne each show businesses close to the searcher. We choose the services and parts of the metro where you can compete, then build your profile, pages and reviews around them.

The Triangle

Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill are close together but they are still separate places in search. A business in Durham will show more easily for Durham searches. A website with clear service pages and ads targeted by area help you reach the rest of the Triangle.

Smaller towns

Outside the big metros there are often fewer strong competitors. A complete Business Profile, steady reviews and a solid website can go a long way. We check how crowded your market is in the free audit before suggesting a plan.

Service area rules

If you go to your customers, Google lets you hide your street address and list the areas you serve. Google’s guidelines say a service area should stay within about 2 hours of driving from your base. Listing a town tells Google where you work. It does not make you rank there. We also will not put your profile at a virtual office or mailbox, because Google does not allow it.

Which parts of North Carolina do we cover?

We work with businesses anywhere in North Carolina. The markets we are asked about most are Charlotte, including areas such as Uptown, South End and Ballantyne, and the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill area. If you are elsewhere in the state, the same approach applies.

How does remote work run?

Our team does the work and talks to you directly. Updates come through Slack, email and short Loom videos. Calls happen during US mornings, Eastern time. You get plain English reports on calls, forms, cost per lead and what we will do next.

We do not visit job sites. You send photos of your crews and your work, and we use them on your profile and pages.

How is VentCube priced?

It depends on how much work your business and your market need. After a free audit, we recommend a monthly plan and tell you the price before you commit. Ad spend is separate and paid to Google by you. Month to month, 30 day notice. We recommend 3 months for SEO, but you can leave any month.

North Carolina FAQ

Common questions

Do you have an office in North Carolina?

No. Our only office is in Khulna, Bangladesh, and we work with North Carolina businesses remotely. Our hours overlap US mornings, Eastern time, which is North Carolina time.

Can I rank in both Charlotte and Raleigh?

Not from one Google Business Profile. Map results lean on distance, so you show near where you are based. If you have a staffed location in each metro, each one gets its own profile. Google Ads can cover both metros soon after launch.

How long does SEO take?

SEO usually takes months, not weeks, to show in Google Maps and rankings. Google Ads can bring calls much sooner, so many owners run ads while SEO builds.
